Isobel Heaton, CIPD Fellow is an international management/learning & development consultant with 22 years experience working as DTC International – development, training and coaching for enhanced performance.

She was also a founding Director of Assessing Success Ltd, who provide a software solution and an assessment and evaluation service for learning and development professionals. Her early careers were in the finance sector, education and public relations.

Her consultancy role ranges from strategy development to group facilitation/training to 1:1 coaching in public & private sector organizations. She specialises in -

Based in the UK, her work has taken her to Canada, China, Eastern Europe, India, Japan, Russia and the USA.

Company sectors include – Energy, Financial Services & Banking, Health, IT, Legal & Judiciary, Manufacturing, Petroleum, Pharmaceutical and Retail.

Positions held include -

She has spoken at sixteen national CIPD conferences as well as for the Institute of Directors, Chartered Institute of Management and on BBC Radio 4 very often on the evaluation of learning & development.

In addition she tutors/coaches for Professor George Kohlreiser on the directors' High Performance Leadership Programme at the International Institute of Management Development (IMD), Switzerland.

Her first degree included psychology, sociology and moral philosophy and subsequently studied for an MSc in Organizational Behavior at Birkbeck. She is a NLP Master Practitioner; British Psychological Society qualified and has undertaken ongoing development in coaching, ontological coaching, counselling, gestalt, transactional analysis, NLP and emotional intelligence as well as director development programmes with IOD.
